1. Double-Click on the SETUPV10.EXE file below.to download

2. Save the file in a Folder other than CTV10 ( Downloads or My Downloads etc. )

Netscape Version 4.6 and higher using Smartdownload will automatically save the file in the My Downloads folder and run SETUPV10.EXE for you if you Click INSTALL. DON'T DO THIS! Just click on Close and then Close again which will just save the file in the My Downloads folder.

3. From the Desktop Click on Start then Find then Files and Folders and type SETUPV10.EXE in the Named: box, and Click on Find Now.

4. Double-Click on the SETUPV10 that's located in the "Name In Folder" box at the bottom of the Find Window

5. From the Desktop Click on Start then Find then Files and Folders and type INSTCV10.BAT inthe Named: box, and Click on Find Now.

6. Double-Click on the INSTCV10 that's located in the "Name In Folder" box at the bottom of the Find Window

7. When the setup displays a "Welcome to the cvt10 installation program." Click OK!

8. When the setup dislplays "Begin the installation by clicking the button below." Click the button below with the picture of the computer.

9. When the setup displays "Setup will add items to the group shown in the Program Group box." Should show "Contenders" then Click Continue!

10. The setup then displays "ctv10 Setup Destination files: C:\Program Files\ctv10\ and the bar showing the % of files complete".

11. when the setup displays "ctv10 setup was completed successfully" Click OK!

12. Close the "Find Files and Folders" window

13. After Setup is completed successfully, Click on Start then Programs then Contenders then Contenders V10 to start the program.

14. Be sure to click on the Read First Button before using the software.

15. The program will be installed in the \Program Files\ctv10\ folder and the name of the program is ctv10.exe if you want to create a shotcut desktop icon.

16. If you have Contenders Version 9.5 installed you can find and run INSTCOLD.BAT and the LISTER.EXE and PKUNZIP.EXE will automatically be copied from your CV95FOLD folder to the V10 new folder /Program Files/ctv10/

17. Once installed, e-mail Terry at webmaster@contenderswins.com and request 10-day trial activation file or permanent activation file for those customers wanting to Upgrade from ANY previous version of Contenders or new customers wanting to purchase or rent.
